At Terramonga, we don’t just fill boxes—we pick from the best of what’s harvested on a weekly basis.  The bounty shifts with the seasons, always echoing what’s abundant on the farm. One week it might be your tried-and-true favorites, the next a surprise cut or vegetable you’ve yet to try. Either way, it’s the farm speaking straight to your table.

It all comes down to how often you fire up the stove/grill and how much produce and meat your household goes through.  As a rule of thumb, customers tell us a Large veggie box will keep a family of 3-4 fed for the week, while a Small does the trick for 1-2 people. The same goes for the meat: a Large box usually stretches a month for 3-4 folks, and a Small box keeps 1-2 stocked for the month.

If the kitchen’s where you spend your evenings, then yes. If you eat-out or take-out a lot, then probably not.

The surest place to pick up your box is right here at the farm, Wednesdays from 3–6pm.  Swing by and you’ll get more than fresh food—you’ll catch up with our crew and hear the latest farm goings-on. We’ve also set up extra pick-up spots on Wednesdays and Saturdays. When you go to the Checkout Page, you’ll be able to choose the location and time that fits you best.

Every Wednesday we deliver to homes in Fairview, Oakley, Biltmore Village, West Asheville, Downtown, Montford, Albemarle, and Haw Creek. We keep our routes close to home, so for now we don’t deliver beyond central Asheville or Fairview.

No trouble at all—just drop us an email at least 48 hours before your pickup or delivery, and we’ll carry your order forward to a future date that suits you.

Buying food raised close to home means more than supporting your community—it lets you say, plain and true, ‘I know where my food comes from.’ That’s a hard thing to claim about most grocery carts or restaurant menus.

Most folks know by now that much of our food comes out of a big agricultural machine where health and freshness aren’t at the top of the list. That may suit some. But if what you’re after is real quality, the surest path still runs through a small farm.
